From the first appointment through follow-up, every step is designed to be clear, convenient, and centered on your needs.
Choose a convenient appointment time and complete a brief, secure intake before your visit.
Every evaluation with Jodie includes nutrition, lifestyle, and medical-health discussions. Meet by video to review your history, goals, and existing lab results. If treatment is appropriate, build your care plan and follow-up schedule together.
If injectable weight-loss medication is appropriate, everything you need is shipped directly to your door—medication, syringes, and alcohol swabs are all included.
Care doesn’t stop after the first visit. Follow-up and monitoring are built into the plan when needed.

Meet Jodie
“The most important part of my job is listening closely. There is rarely a cookie-cutter path to success, so every care plan should reflect the individual.”
Jodie Guardi holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary and walk-in care. Again and again, she heard people say they wanted to lose weight, feel better, and improve their health—but did not know where to begin.
Jodie's approach to obesity care began before the rise of GLP-1 medications, giving her a foundation in nutrition, behavior change, and metabolic health that predates the current trend. She's provided individualized GLP-1 weight-management care since 2023, integrating medication with the whole-person approach she's used throughout her career.
She earned her nursing degree with honors from Resurrection University in 2013 and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at DePaul University in 2019. Her doctoral research examined gaps in obesity diagnosis and management and was published in a peer-reviewed journal. She has also served as adjunct nursing faculty at DePaul and mentored new nurse practitioners.
